Contacts are the very vital part of our mobile life. Android contact list offers us much more than just a phone call. As on non smart phones contacts could be used only for calling the person. Smartphones(Android) goes beyond that, through this contact list one can call people without hassle, can send email, add birthday of caller, add address, set profile pics and so on..
1.click on contacts icon (or People icon in some devices) on the main Android Home Screen. or This is available on apps pages also.
2.Click on plus sign in the bottom left(or right) corner of contact screen.
3.Select a place to store contact. you can store it under many services like google mail, SIM card, Phone memory etc.
I recommend to select google, as in future if you lost your Android cell phone then you can restore all your contacts from google just signinig with your gmail. No need to add all contacts again. This is really very cool feature which android provides.
check the ‘Remember this choise’ box if you want and press ‘OK’
4.Enter name of your contact in first box. add phone number, email, address, zip code, birthday, anniversary or add it in some group. Other than Name and phone number everything is optional.
after you finish filling all necessary information click save/ Done button which is at Top to save the contact to your contact list.
Thats it !!
Always sync contacts from other apps to your phone , such as facebook, gmail, whatsapp, etc so that you will save your time for adding it again and again.
Whats your preferred location for saving contacts? google, SIM card or phone or any backup app?
