Today’s trick is how to create a folder without any name. By default windows put the name to folder as ‘New Folder’ . you can say just edit the name and press ‘space bar’. But windows still don’t create the folder with ‘No Name’.
Follow below simple steps and go unnoticed.
Step1: Create the New folder or choose the folder which you want to rename.
Step2: Press F2 or right click and choose ‘Rename‘ option.
Step3: Now Press and hold the ‘Alt‘ button and then type 0160 or 255 from ‘Num Pad‘ which at right side of your keyboard.
Step4: leave the Alt key. finish!
you will notice that the folder has no name.(actually single space is there)
If you want to create multiple folders with no name then simply rename it with 2, 3, 4 etc spaces. ie entering alt+0160 that much times.
Reasons: windows don’t allows us to enter space as folder name. By pressing alt+number we are enabling ASCII mode, and in ASCII mode, space means 0160 number. so windows allows us to enter space.
